Customizing and updating 1976 corvette with a 1982 frame

.: moving a 1976 body to a 1982 frame

The 1982 frame is a close fit, but not quite the same and required the two minor modifications:
- Rear storage compartments nicks differential u-joints and was resolved with minor sanding of the storage compartments
- Boss on differential used during the manufacturing process nicked the transmission tunnel and was removed with minor filing.

- Relocated, leather parking brake lever
- Enhanced holding power (very important considering an electric motor has no holding power when turned off).

A/C converted to R134
- Eliminated VIR
- New electrically driven Sanden compressor
- "No bake" mode keeps interior cool while car sits for hours in blistering sun

Batteries - Odyssey PC1500 absorbed glass mat. Twenty-four batteries; two 144 volt battery packs
